Lead Rebuild Technician
Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly, In-Person
- Take ownership of reconstruction projects from start to finish according to scope of work.
- Supervise junior rebuild technicians and subcontractors, providing direction and quality checks.
- Perform skilled carpentry and finishing work including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, windows, doors, and trim installation.
- Oversee demolition, ensuring safety and structural integrity are maintained.
- Apply finishes such as painting, tile work, and other final touches.
- Maintain clear communication with customers, the Owner, and team members.
- Track progress, report issues, and suggest practical solutions to challenges.
- Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and organized at all times.
- Uphold company standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Train and mentor junior rebuild technicians.
- Assist with estimating by providing accurate field measurements and material needs.
- Help protect customer property using appropriate coverings and materials.
- Ensure company tools and vehicles are maintained in good condition.
- Occasionally assist mitigation team if needed for demolition or prep.
- Leadership or crew management experience
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Strong knowledge of Contra Costa County building codes and practices
- Long-term interest in advancing into supervisory or management roles
Takes initiative, runs projects independently, and ensures work meets company standards.
Demonstrates advanced carpentry, drywall, and finishing ability. Troubleshoots and solves problems in the field.
Communicates effectively with customers, teammates, and subcontractors. Builds trust through professionalism.
Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Models safe, efficient work habits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required

4+ years of construction, carpentry, or restoration experience
- Proficient with hand and power tools, materials, and jobsite safety
- Ability to read scopes of work, drawings, and blueprints
- Comfortable leading crews and coordinating subcontractors

Drywall, mud, and texture experience is required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must pass background and drug screening
